Privacy
We look after boats, keys and service records for our members. This page is the plain-English version of how we handle what comes with that. Last reviewed October 2026.
What we hold, and why
To look after your boat we need your name, a way to reach you, your boat’s details (make, model, hull ID, registration and engine serials), its service history and a note of how you like things done. We also log every launch, service and inspection against your boat. That is the whole file.
Keys and access
Boat keys are held in a locked key cabinet at our office, tagged with a number rather than your name or boat name. Only storage and service staff can open it. Keys are returned to you when your membership ends.
Who sees it
Our office team and the technicians assigned to your boat. We share details with your insurer only when you ask us to (for example, a copy of your hurricane plan). We do not sell member lists, and we do not send marketing to anyone who has not asked for it.
Photographs
We photograph your boat as part of monthly condition reports, service work and storm inspections, and we send those photos to you. We never use a member’s boat in advertising without written permission.
Payments
Card details are handled by our payment provider and never reach our systems. We keep invoices and payment records for seven years because tax law requires it.
How long we keep things
Member and service records while you are with us, then three years so warranty and resale history stays available to you. Enquiries that never became memberships, twelve months.
Your say
Ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will do it within thirty days. Email hello@premiermarine.example and put “my data” in the subject line.
